Joey Yap has never addressed himself as 'Master Joey Yap' in any of his writings. So he is not one of the *self-proclaimed* masters you have mentioned. :-)

Dear Master Yap,

You seem to be one of the most knowledgeable and most generous master in the practice I've ever come accross. I spent the last 5 days and nights reading through your blog. Impressive is an understatement!

Your writings show true depth of the subjects you write about. I am never easily impressed with any selfproclaimed masters out there. But with you, I take my hat off.

I think that if anyone were to claim the title of Mastership must first prove his depth of knowledge. Like what you have done here. There is no other way anyone can truly see what lies behind the title.

Thank you MASTER Joey Yap.

ps: I have forwarded many of your writings to my friends and will continue to do so.

Hi Joey,

What you've written is very interesting. I heard of Physiognomy and its Aristotle origin. The Chinese approach you shared with us seems to be quite extensive. Are there any literatures I could read up on?

Rgds,
